Whale Watching Wonders
The Point Reyes National Seashore Association is proud to host the first annual Whale Watching Wonders day. Come help us count the many whales that pass by the coast, as they make their way south to warmer waters. This outdoor event is designed for family fun, and everyone is welcome. We will take the park service shuttle to Chimney Rock from Drakes Beach. PRNSA staff will guide you near the cliffs' edge, where we will spot whales through scopes and binoculars. In between whale sightings, we will offer lessons on cetacean biology and behavior. It will be a fun and interactive day watching the largest animals in our National Seashore with your family. Remember, this event is FREE, but space is limited. Register today and mark your calendar!
