Creating Coastal Stewardship through Science Curriculum Guides
Created by teachers for teachers, these free middle school curriculum guides provide students with lessons that emphasize the observation of natural processes at Point Reyes National Seashore to stimulate interest in science and environmental stewardship. Based on the California Science Framework and California Science Standards, topics include Tule Elk, Defining Habitats, Discovering Northern Elephant Seals, Observing Pacific Gray Whales, Identifying Resident Birds, Uncovering the San Andreas Fault and Monitoring Creek Health.
- Monitoring Creek Health Activity Kits are available for check-out at the Education Center. These kits contain materials for measuring and assessing the physical, chemical, and biological health of creeks and streams.

Touching Nature Video
In 2010, PRNSA collaborated with renowned San Francisco Bay Area filmmaker Doug McConnell and the teachers and students from ASCEND School in Oakland to produce a 6-minute film designed to introduce teachers, students and their parents to the Clem Miller Environmental Education Center and Point Reyes National Seashore.
