Marc Matheson joined PRNSA in 2014, bringing a lifelong dedication to wilderness, diverse and inclusive community engagement, and over 40 years of administrative and organizational expertise in the corporate, private and non-profit sectors - from banking to real estate, symphony to hospice, event planning to fundraising.
Marc is delighted to be part of the PRNSA team, having been a Point Reyes National Seashore volunteer and full-time West Marin resident for nearly a decade. He studied at Prescott College, Tibet-Institut Rikon in Switzerland, Foothill College, Japan Society in New York City, and Middlebury College, and is a graduate of Shambhala Seminary.
In his free time Marc writes, practices and teaches meditation, is a community activist and organizer, creates local community radio programming, and enjoys being outdoors in all kinds of weather. He's a foodie, traveler, and fashion aficionado.
