Development Associate and Volunteer & Intern Coordinator

Marc Matheson joined PRNSA in 2014, bringing a lifelong dedication to wilderness, diverse and inclusive community engagement, and over 40 years of administrative and organizational expertise in the corporate, private and non-profit sectors - from banking to real estate, symphony to hospice, event planning to fundraising.

Marc is delighted to be a part of PRNSA's Development and Events team, and Volunteer and Intern Coordinator, having been a Point Reyes National Seashore volunteer and full-time West Marin resident for nearly a decade. He studied at Prescott College, Tibet-Institut Rikon in Switzerland, Foothill College, Japan Society in New York City and Middlebury College, and is a graduate of Shambhala Seminary.

In his free time Marc writes, practices and teaches meditation, creates local community radio programming, and enjoys being outdoors in all kinds of weather. He's a foodie, traveler and fashion aficiando.
