Whatever activities you plan for your visit, the Center staff is here to support you with guidance and help along with a wide array of books, games, field guides, study cards, slides, activity boxes, binoculars, and more. The National Park Service provides online Curriculum Guides and Ranger-Led Educational Offerings You can also sign your class up for Habitat Restoration Project . Participating in these projects will leave your students with a tangible feeling of accomplishment. Look in the Teacher Handbook for more details and ideas.
Middle and high school groups may also schedule a field study day in the Giacomini Wetlands where students will learn about wetlands ecology, macroinvertebrate populations, and water quality monitoring.
