Point Reyes National Seashore Youth Ambassadors

PRNSA's Seashore Youth Ambassadors project is deepening and expanding the way middle school students from neighboring towns connect with Point Reyes National Seashore. This innovative program provides local youth with environmental education and wilderness recreation experiences while exposing them to career pathways within the National Park Service and deepening their understanding and enjoyment of their local National Seashore.

Seed money for Seashore Youth Ambassadors was provided by the National Park Foundation's America's Best Idea Grant, an initiative aimed at providing underserved young people with access to and meaningful experiences within our National Seashores, Monuments, Historic Sites, and Parks.

This project is a collaboration between PRNSA, West Marin School, Tomales Bay Youth Center, and the National Park Service at Point Reyes National Seashore.
