Dinner on the Pacific Plate Auction banner
Preview our online auction of unique Point Reyes experiences in early September. Bidding opens September 20th and ends October 7, 2010. During the event on October 9th, we will continue to auction our top 5 once-in-a-lifetime park experiences live, including:

Feast at the Point of Kings

Escort five lucky friends down the 308-steps to the iconic Point Reyes Lighthouse for a magnificent dinner created especially for the occasion by nationally celebrated Manka's Inverness Lodge. Your experience includes a tour of the grounds by the 'lighthouse keeper' who will illuminate and turn the rare first-order Fresnel lens.

Seaside Slumber and Sojourn at the Historic Boathouse

Invite 15 of your closest friends to join you for a most memorable sleepover at the historic Point Reyes Lifeboat Station. Choose between an afternoon of exploration around Drakes Estero led by Blue Waters Kayaking or a naturalist-led hike to view Chimney Rock wildflowers. One of Marin's favorite caterers, Pam Ferrari, will serve you a delicious meal as the sun sets over Drakes Bay. Breakfast will await you the next morning.

Rustic Retreat at Camp Clem

Gather up 20 of your favorite little ones, family and friends for a night at the Clem Miller Environmental Education Center. Enjoy rustic accommodations in our camp cabins, a naturalist-led hike around Limantour Beach, campfire story teller with s'mores makings, a make-your-own pizza project for dinner, and a home-cooked breakfast.

Two Nights at Nick's Along Tomales Bay

Savor views of Point Reyes with up to three good friends from the deck of your cottage at Pat Kuleto's beautiful Nick's Cove. For adventure, explore the bay by boat with Dr. Ben Becker, Director of the Pacific Coast Science and Learning Center at Point Reyes National Seashore. Your two night stay includes a dinner of the freshest seafood and locally-sourced culinary delights.

Poetry and Place

Invite 19 fellow poetry lovers for a special conversation on nature writing with a poetry reading by Robert Hass. West Marin's Pulitzer-Prize winning poet and author of 'The Apple Trees of Olema' will meet with you and your guests for an afternoon in the living room of the lovely Olema Druid's Hall bed and breakfast. Your unique event includes fine wine and hors d'oeuvres.
