Summer Camp Kitchen Manager
The Point Reyes Summer Camp Kitchen Manager works closely with the Head Cook to execute all facets of meal planning, preparation and service for 75 children and adults for 9 weeks of summer camp programs at the Clem Miller Environmental Education Center in Point Reyes National Seashore. Duties include scheduling and supervising kitchen staff, weekly shopping & food sourcing, food preparation and kitchen clean up.

Coastal Dune and Rare Plant Intern (Paid)
Coastal Dune and Rare Plant Intern will assist on a variety of rare plant, invasive removal, and coastal dune restoration monitoring activities at Point Reyes National Seashore. The intern will be an employee of the Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRSNA), and PRNSA staff will act as the direct supervisor while NPS staff will provide day-to-day technical guidance in the field. This internship is an opportunity to get exposure to and experience working in Natural Resources Management within the National Park Service (NPS). Specifically, the intern will work under the technical guidance of the Vegetation Management Program of the Natural Resources Division at the Seashore. Because of the range of activities that the intern will engage in, this internship will provide a broad view of different aspects of the National Park Service and will be especially beneficial to those considering job opportunities in the environmental sciences within NPS. The intern is expected to benefit from on-the-job training in restoration planning and monitoring, invasives removal, and rare plant identification and ecology, techniques such as use of Global Positioning Systems, and data management.

Range Intern (Paid)
This internship is an opportunity to provide educational and professional development. The PRNSA range intern will conduct a wide variety of tasks across disciplines, including vegetation ecology, range ecology and cultural resources. The intern will work under the technical guidance of the Range Management Program and Integrated Resource Management Division at Point Reyes National Seashore, coordinating with volunteers and staff who are passionate about protecting the ecological and cultural landscape of the Seashore. The diversity of tasks that the intern will engage in include: supply native plants for restoration projects in support of range, cultural and vegetation programs; collect residual dry matter data and mapping on grazed lands; provide opportunities for the public to learn about California native flora; and play an active role in ecological monitoring at the Seashore.
