Ways to Make a Planned Gift

Make a Bequest: By including the Seashore Association in your will or estate plan, you can help us build an endowment and create a legacy of caring for Point Reyes that will last forever. This thoughtful act can result in the largest and most lasting gift you ever make to Point Reyes. There are a number of ways you can leave a legacy for Point Reyes through leaving a bequest to the Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA).
Talk to your legal consultant about giving a percentage of your estate, a residual bequest, a fixed amount bequest, a property bequest, or a double-purpose bequest which leaves your estate to a particular individual during their lifetime, and then transfers to PRNSA upon their passing.
If you choose to include the park in your will or estate plan, you should consult with with your lawyer. We can be named in your documents as:
"Point Reyes National Seashore Association, a nonprofit corporation, organized and existing under the laws of California, located in Point Reyes Station, CA, 94956. Tax identification 94-222-8894."

Retirement Plans:
You can leave a legacy for the park when your name Point Reyes National Seashore Association
as a beneficiary of your IRA or other
retirement plan.
- Insurance: You can leave a legacy for the park when you name Point
Reyes National Seashore Association
as a beneficiary of your life insurance
policy.
- Real Estate or Stock:
You can leave a legacy for the park when you transfer real estate or stock to Point Reyes National Seashore
