BayWood Artists Paint Point Reyes Wilderness - Art Show & Sale
Join us this Fall at the Red Barn Classroom & Art Gallery at Point Reyes National Seashore for a exhibition and sale of art by the BayWood Artists. Throughout 2014 the BayWood artists will be visiting and painting scenic vistas and lands as part of the campaign, “Wilderness Forever” that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act passed by the United States Congress in 1964. For the third year, the artists known for their plein air style, will give a portion of the proceeds to the Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) to support our mission.
The exhibition opens Labor Day weekend on Saturday, August 30th with an open reception from 12:00 -5:00 pm. The art show and sales continue on weekends through September (except September 14th) from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, ending with a closing cocktail hour reception Saturday, September 20th (in conjunction with PRNSA’S Dinner at the Pacific Plate annual fundraiser). Admission is free, and all are welcome! For additional hours and information, contact Annalisa Price or call (415) 663.1200 x 309 or visit the BayWood Artists website.
