PRNSA Field Institute Instructor

Tanya is a botanist and ecologist. She has served as project manager for the national park service for a major wetland restoration outside of Muir Woods for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. She holds a masters in biology from San Francisco State University in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. An outdoor library for over 10 years, she has led numerous kayak explorations on Tomales Bay. A scientist, naturalist and storyteller she evokes a sense of awe and interconnectedness of the natural world into the lives of her participants.
