Come enjoy photographing the wildflowers of Point Reyes National Seashore! This workshop will concentrate on improving our photography skills in a variety of settings throughout the peninsula. We will work on three different approaches to photographing wildflowers: close-up, mid-range, and wide-angle scenic, as each has its own skill-set associated with it. Our weekend will be spent partly in the classroom, where we will review what we have created in the field with the intention of improving our approach to composition, depth of field, and exposure. Using Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop, we will learn post-processing techniques that are simple, effective and time saving. We will even learn about a few fantastic smartphone apps that can assist us in photographing nature in general. Accommodations included at the Clem Miller Environmental Education Center.
