Evening time is a great time to paddle on Tomales Bay, because of its isolation from mainland lights and adjacent location to the national park the tranquil waters of the bay are clam and the skies clear. Comet 209P/ Linear is a periodic comet discovered on February 3rd 2004, and will be returning on May 24th, 2014. That night our atmosphere will be blasted by a reoccurrence visit that should create a meteor shower with viewings estimated from 100 - 400 meteors/ hour. The views should be amazing floating on the dark water of Tomales Bay looking west to the coastline of Point Reyes National Seashore. Kayak rental included.
