Celebrate the Summer Solstice by spending the late dusk hours prowling around to see who is out there—maybe bats, raccoons, coyotes, possums, deer, rodents, owls and other birds—and who have been there! The hours before dark are active in the animal world. Diurnal (active during the day) animals are busy stocking up for the night of rest. Nocturnal critters are rousing for a busy night of looking for food. And crepuscular (dawn and dusk) creatures are at their peak of liveliness. Bring your favorite young person for an interactive evening of learning more about the animal world through games, stories, observation and investigation with a fun and seasoned naturalist. Also open to youth (age 7-17) with adult attendance.
